Pre-Workout Chocolate Coconut Covered Banana Bites
Need a quick boost of energy before a weight training session? Try this simple and crazy delicious recipe as a pre-workout treat. I suggest 2 servings for women and 3-4 for men.
7oz bananas (Approx. 2 Med Bananas)
40g Chocolate chips
15g unsweetened coconut flakes
1tsp coconut oil
0.5 scoops @gaugelifesupps chocolate collagen
1️⃣ Add the chocolate chips and coconut oil to a microwaveable bowl. Microwave for ~ minute or until melted.
2️⃣ Mix @gaugelifesupps chocolate collagen into the melted chocolate chips and coconut oil.
3️⃣ Chop the Bananas into bites weighing ~0.7oz each.
4️⃣ Use a toothpick to hold the banana and gently rotate the banana bite into the chocolate collagen sauce.
5️⃣ In a small bowl, pour the unsweetened coconut flakes and rotate the chocolate collagen covered banana bite gently into the coconut flakes.
6️⃣ Place the chocolate collagen covered banana bite into freezer for 15 minutes.
