Almond Chocolate Protein Bites

Relieve your sweet tooth with this high protein easy to make treat! With only 3 net carbs per serving and a whopping 12 grams of protein this is an amazingly healthy dessert or snack that can be enjoyed on the go for a satisfying treat.

Ingredient List:

120g (4 scoops) Gauge Life ® Prime All Natural Whey Protein Isolate, Vanilla
10 TBSP Water
5 TBSP Almond Butter
2 TBSP Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
4 TBSP Sliced Almonds, chopped
3-4 Packets of the sweetener of your choice

 

  

Method:

Combine protein powder, almond butter, and cocoa in a large mixing bowl. Mix ingredients together using a spoon and add 1 tbsp of water at a time to help combine dry powder into the nut butter. This will form a thick firm batter.

Scoop into 12, 1 TBSP sized balls. Roll each ball onto chopped almond pieces on a flat surface to press almonds onto the surface.

Place on wax or parchment paper and set in freezer for a minimum of 30 minutes. Store in the freezer in a plastic baggie until ready to eat.
